Holiday Quilts and Coverlets
Add another layer to the holiday bed with quilts and coverlets in rich solid colors and touchable textures. Quilted designs bring dimension to everyday bedding and pair beautifully with patterned Christmas sheets, pillows, and throws.
Holiday Quilts and Coverlets: Have Yourself a Merry Little Quilt-mas
Not every holiday bed needs a bold Christmas print. A solid quilt adds color and inviting texture while letting patterned sheets, printed duvet covers, and decorative pillows set the scene. Layer a holiday quilt or coverlet over Christmas sheets for a mix of pattern and texture, or keep the whole bed quieter with solids in shades that suit your holiday palette: plum, pine, or tonal wintry blues.
The fabric brings its own character, too. Velvet lends rich texture, cotton voile has a lighter feel, and jersey knit cotton has a stretchy-soft feel that makes you want to cuddle up. Pull a quilt up as an extra layer on chilly nights, fold it across the foot of the bed, or let its stitched texture create visual contrast against simpler bedding.
